I usually do not approve of wearing make-up b/c it always makes my face feel as if i am wearing wights on my face. However, my friend aka Mikasa, always blows my mind away with her creation.
Jackets are close to done!
I also have been working on character development for Eren. His character is very difficult to get into.
I've read and seen a lot of people portray Eren as the emotion "anger". Yet to me, i want to go deeper than that. Because he is not soul set angry. He has moments when he's annoyed, nervous, excited, encouraging ect. He is more than just plain angry. Ex. episode five before he gets eaten, he tries to cheer Armin up. Another ep, he smiles at little kids who are admiring the survey corps from a window. Or another, in the earlier eps, he appears really nervous after hearing Sasha talk back to their superior or when she steals the meat.Sure they are characters on paper, however to bring them to life on stage or at a convention, you have to give them a whole new form. They have shape on a page now give them shape in reality. This is my take on it, "my design" as it were.=) This has helped me understand and get deeper into this role. And I feel as if I am almost there. I want to pull off a great Eren. I want people to look at me and see Eren. Believing that this really is Eren. I want to capture that feeling. Like the feeling you get when you meet Disney characters. You feel that they are real.I really want to make people happy at the panel. I want to bring an outstanding Eren to life for them...i'm not sure i can pull this off...but i'm gonna do it. I may not have the answer, only going off advice and tips may not being enough to cut it, "but i've got more guts than anyone. And that is my weapon".
